The Torch Relay is an important part of the Games' preparation. Under the theme "A Uniting Flame for All," it carries the Games flame toward the Opening Ceremony while building anticipation among torchbearers, schools, local communities, and supporters along the route. The official Torch Relay program also includes activities designed to help bring the excitement of the Games to more people.
As part of the relay, Cheng Donglai, Chairman and President of Citygreen Sports, served as the 17th torchbearer.
